History: This desk was custom made after the WW II in 1946 for a head of philosophy department in Tartu University. It was sold in the late '50-s to a Finno-Ugric linguist in Nõmme, Tallinn. The desk was also used by his wife who was a French philologist and among others translated "The Three Musketeers" into Estonian.
This desk has been cleaned and finished with black environmentally friendly Eico paint at some parts and oil-wax. New black-and-white paper in all drawers. All the black handles are original. Some signs of age and long work hours have been left in purpose.
There are one large drawer in the middle, four on the left side and four on the right side. Bookshelf on the back side of the desk.
